Having been a standing witness to the energy, spirit and enthusiasm of Prime Minister Modi’s community outreach event in Singapore, I can understand and explain what is this phenomenon around ‘Howdy Modi’.
Simply put, it is India waking up from a deep thousand year slumber, roused by yet another Narendra. While the earlier Narendra thundered in Chicago, 125 years ago, the current Narendra sets the places he visits on a thunder and lightning spree.
So, what is this ‘Howdy Modi’?
India is exuding her soft power, by releasing, on world stage, her pent up civilisational energy that has been compressed and suppressed for at least a 1000 years due to three kinds of invasions – external physical, external intellectual and later, after 1947, internal intellectual.
For far too long has India been subjected to forced supplication. For far too long has she been told that her forefathers were thieves, their scriptures were a bunch of lies and that their hegemony was worth nothing. For far too long has she been forced to believe that her children were lesser ones, her chastity was suspect and hence, her progeny was illegitimate.
Now the time has come for her and her children to rubbish the allegations and shatter the shroud of shame to proclaim her virtues and those of her children. And who better than yet another Narendra could stand up to the world to proclaim the mother’s righteousness and give her the rightful place in the comity of nations?
On every place he visits, PM Narendra Modi leaves an indelible mark of Bharat Matha and the feeling of oneness and vasuda evam kudumbakam. He writes, by his voice, in indelible letters, the eternal message of deep universal wisdom that India, the land of Bharat, stands for.
By every word he speaks, PM Modi enshrines the never-die spirit of the people of India, her traders, her academics, her hard working women, the ancient rishis and the bubbling youth who dare even the celestial bodies.
Presidential speeches, from Kennedy to Trump, have contained references to Kashmir’s problems and the need for negotiation. ( Refer Kennedy’s Inaugural speech in the UN). Now, Kashmir doesn’t figure in the problem list. Future Presidents wouldn’t talk about Kashmir like they wouldn’t talk about, say, Kerala, a state in India.
Then why do some rejoice at the paltry opposition outside the stadium? Why do some still continue to nay-say despite the spontaneous release of the long suppressed civilisational energy?

The answer is:
This big-bang release of energy is channelizedby a mass leader who epitomises the very energy. Hence, forces and attitudes that have been shaped by 70+ years of entitlement driven liberalism, would find these rather out of place.
Their conditioned mind, having been continuously fed on a staple hate-oozing academic diet for the last 40 years, would view any other alternate course, that shines with progress, growth, cooperation and inclusion, as alien and hence impossible to be true. It is this mind conditioning that we should aspire to get out of and get ready to acquire an original mind that is immune to media chatter and oft-repeated cliche-driven ideologies.
And originality of mind comes by only when one sheds the cloak of arrogance acquired due to Macaulayan education of the last 100 years and begins to look inward at who one is, who his forefathers were, what were their qualities and how did they come to be.
Simply put, one needs to embark on a Bharatiya education of trying to know oneself.
மாணவர்களே, பிரதமர் மோதியின் சிங்கப்பூர்ப் பயணம் குறித்துப் பார்ப்போம்.
பிரதமர் மோதி 2018ல் சிங்கப்புர் ஷாங்ரி லா கூட்டத்தில் சிறப்புரை ஆற்றுவார் என்று 2017 செப்டம்பரில் முடிவானது. ஷாங்ரி லா கூட்டம் உலகப் பாதுகாப்புத் துறை அமைச்சர்கள், உலக நாடுகளின் தலைவர்கள் ஆண்டுக்கொருமுறை கூடிப் பேசும் நிகழ்வு. தற்போதைய கொந்தளிப்பான தெற்கிழக்காசியச் சூழலில் பிரதமரின் பேச்சு மிகவும் எதிர்பார்க்கப் பட்ட ஒன்று.
சூழல் இது தான்: சீனா தனது அதிகாரத்தைப் பல வகைகளிலும் காட்டத் துவங்கிவிட்டது. தென்சீனக் கடல் முழுதுமே தனக்குச் சொந்தம் என்று கூறி, அக்கடற் பகுதியில் உள்ள தீவுகளை ஆக்கிரமித்து, புதிய தீவுகளை உருவாக்கி, அதில் தனது விமானப் படையின் விமானங்களையும் தரை இறக்கியுள்ளது. இதனால் வியட்னாம், பிலிப்பன்ஸ், தாய்லாந்து, கம்போடியா, ஜப்பான், மலேசியா, இந்தோனேசியா முதலிய நாடுகள் அமைதியிழந்துள்ளன.
அத்துடன் சீனா மற்ற நாடுகளான இலங்கை, சூடான், திஜோப்தி முதலான நாடுகளில் துறைமுகங்கள் கட்டப் பெரும் பணத்தை முதலீடு செய்துள்ளது. அந்த நாடுகள் திருப்பித் தர இயலாத கடன்கள் அவை. கட்டத் தவறினால் துறைமுகங்கள் சீனாவிடுடையவையாகும் அபாயம். இதனால் இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல், அரபிக்கடல், மலாக்கா நீர்வழி முதலானவை சீனாவின் ஆதிக்கத்தில் வீழும் அபாயம், இவ்வழிகளில் நடக்கும் வணிகம் முழுவதும் சீனாவின் கைக்குச் செல்லும் விபரீத நிதர்ஸனம். இவற்றால் இவ்வழியில் உள்ள நாடுகள் பெரும் கலக்கத்தில் உள்ளன.
வட கொரியா என்னும் துருப்புச் சீட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி சீனா அமெரிக்காவையும் ஜப்பானையும் பலமுறைகள் பணியவத்துள்ளது. இக்கட்டுரை எழுதப்படும் நிலையில் வட கொரிய – அமெரிக்க சந்திப்பு நிகழுமா என்னும் கேள்வி உள்ளது. அமெரிக்கா சீனாவையே இந்த ஸ்திரத்தன்மையற்ற நிலைக்குக் காரணம் என்று சொல்லியுள்ளது.
டொனால்ட் டிரம்ப் பதவி ஏற்றவுடன் அமெரிக்காவின் படைகள் தெற்காசியாவில் இருந்து வெளியேறும் என்றும் டி.பி.பி. என்னும் அட்லாண்டிக் வர்த்தக ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இருந்து விலகுவதாகவும் அறிவித்ததை அடுத்தும் சீனாவின் ஆதிக்கம் கொஞ்சம் தூக்கலாகவே உள்ளது.
சீனா தனது சோஷலிசப் பொருளாதாரத்தை விடுத்துச் சந்தைப் பொருளாதாரத்தை நோக்கி நகர்ந்தால் பெரிதும் வளர்ச்சி அடையும் என்றும், அதனால் அதன் தலைக்கனம் அதிகரித்து தெற்காசிய நாடுகளுக்குப் பெரும் அச்சுறுத்தலாக அமைய வாய்ப்புள்ளது என்று 1970களிலேயே தீர்க்கதரிசனத்துடன் தெரிவித்தார் சிங்கப்பூரின் தந்தை லீ குவான் யூ. அதனால் ஆசியான்(ASEAN) என்னும் தெற்காசிய னாடுகளின் கூட்டமைப்பில் இந்தியாவைக் கொண்டுவரப் பெரிதும் பாடுபட்டார். இந்தியாவைச் சீனாவுக்கான Counter Weight என்று சரியாகக் கணித்த தீர்க்கதரிசி லீ, இந்திரா காந்தியுடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்திப் பார்த்தார். சோவியத் யூனியனுக்கும் அமெரிக்காவுக்கும் இடையிலான பனிப்போரில் குளிர் காய்ந்துகொண்டிருந்த இந்திரா காந்தி லீயின் பேச்சிற்கு மசியவில்லை. லீ இது குறித்துத் தன் நூலில் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.

இந்த நேரத்தில் லீயின் மதி நுட்பம், ஹென்றி கிஸ்ஸிஞ்சரின் செயல் திறன் இரண்டுமாகச் சேர்ந்து அமெரிக்க ஜனாதிபதி நிக்ஸனைச் சீனாவிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கிறது. அதுவரை பேசாத இரு துருவங்கள் பேசிக்கொள்கின்றன. பின்னர் சீனாவில் டெங் ஜியாபெங் பதவியேற்கிறார். சிங்கப்பூரின் லீ குவான் யூ அவருக்கு மதியுரை அளித்துச் சீனாவைக் கம்யூனிசப் போக்கிலிருந்து சந்தைப் பொருளாதாரத்திற்கு மாற்றுகிறார்.
பின்னர் 1991ல் சோவியத் யூனியன் உடைகிறது, உலகம் ஒரு துருவப் பார்வைக்குள் அடியெடுத்து வைக்கிறது. இந்தியாவின் நரசிம்மராவ் Look East Policyயை முன்வைக்கிறார். இந்தியா நிர்வாக, பொருளாதாரச் சீர்திருத்தப் பாதையில் பயணிக்கிறது. சிங்கப்பூரின் பிரதமர் கோ சொக் தொங் அவர்களின் சீரிய முயற்சியால் இந்தியா ஆசியான் நோக்கி நகர்கிறது.
பிரதமர் வாய்பாய் கோ சோக் தோங் சந்திப்பு, பின்னர் 2005ல் CECA – Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement – என்னும் ஒப்பந்தம் என்று இந்திய-சிங்கப்புர் வர்த்தகப் புரிந்துணர்வுகள் நடைபெறுகின்றன. தடையற்ற வர்த்தகம் என்னும் நிலை நோக்கி இரு நாடுகளும் நகர்கின்றன. 2018ல் பிரதமர் மோதியின் சிங்கப்பூர் வருகையில் CECAவின் இரண்டாவது தளம் கையெழுத்தானது. 30 பொருட்களுக்கான சுங்கத் தீர்வை குறைப்பு, வர்த்தகம் அதிகரிப்பு என்று பலமுனைகளில் ஒத்துழைப்பு சீரடையப் பெரு முயற்சி என்று நடந்தேறியது.
ஷாங்ரி லா கூட்டத்தில் பிரதமர் மோதி ஆசியான் கூட்டமைப்பின் தேவை, கடல்வழிப்பதைகளில் அனைத்து நாடுகளுக்கும் உரிமை, நாடுகளிடையேயான சச்சரவுகளை நீதிமன்றங்கள் மூலம் தீர்த்துக் கொள்ளுதல், நரசிம்ம ராவ் சொன்ன ‘கிழக்குப் பார்வை’, ஆசியானிக்கான இந்தியாவின் உறுதுணை என்று தெற்காசிய நாடுகளுக்குத் தெம்பளிக்கும் வகையில் பேசினார். சிங்கப்பூர் மருவதற்கு முன் இந்தோநேசியா சென்று அங்கு சபாங் துறைமுகம் அமைக்க உதவி செய்ய ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

பாரதம், ஆஸ்திரேலியா, அமெரிக்கா, ஜப்பான் இவை இணைந்த நாற்கரக் கூட்டு (Quadrilateral Alliance) என்ற ஒரு பார்வை உள்ளது. இது சீனாவிற்கெதிரான பாதுகாப்பு அரண். சீனாவின் OBOR – One Belt One Road – திட்டத்திற்கு எதிரான / இணையான ஆனால் சீனாவைச் சாராத ஒரு வணிக, ராணுவக் கூட்டு இது. இதற்கும் சிங்கப்பூரின் பங்களிப்பு தேவையே. ஏனெனில் ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் துவங்கி மலாக்கா கடல் வழி வரையில் உள்ள பாதையில் சிங்கப்பூர் சிறப்பான பொருளியலுடன் இயங்கும் துறைமுக நகரம். ஆகவே இதன் உதவியும் தேவை என்பது வெளிப்படை.
இது தவிர, சிங்கப்பூருடனான ஒப்பந்தங்கள் பல கையெழுத்தாயின. சிங்கப்பூர் – இந்திய வர்த்தகம் கடந்த ஓராண்டில் 14% அதிகரித்து 25பில்லியன் டாலர் என்று உயர்ந்துள்ளது. இது 2005ல் 16.6 பில்லியன் என்று இருந்து, 2017ல் 25 பில்லியன் என்று உயர்ந்துள்ளது. இத்துடன் இந்தியாவில் சிங்கப்பூர் முதலீடு 36.3 பில்லியன் டாலர் ( உலக நாடுகளில் அதிக அளவில் இந்தியாவில் முதலீடு செய்துள்ள நாடுகளில் சிங்கப்பூர் இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது).
கவனிக்க வேண்டியது : சிங்கப்பூர் முதலீடு 2014ல் 22.7 பில்லியன் டாலர். 2017ல் 36 பில்லியன் டாலர். இது மிக கூர்ந்து நோக்கத்தக்கது.
இது தவிரவும், சிங்கப்பூர் ஆந்திர மாநிலத்தில் அமராவதி நகரை வடிவமைத்து வருகிறது. FinTech என்னும் வங்கித் தொழில் நுட்பத்துறையில் சிங்கப்பூர் இந்தியாவுடன் நல்ல பயனளிக்கும் ஒப்பந்தங்களைச் செய்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் Smart Nations திட்டத்திற்கு சிங்கப்புர் மிகச் சிறந்த அறிவுரைகளையும் ஒத்துழைப்பையும், அனுபவ அறிவையும் வழங்கிவருவதும் அறிந்ததே. இது தவிரவும் ராஜஸ்தான், குஜராத் மாநிலங்களில் சிங்கப்பூரின் Hyflux நிறுவனம் குடிநீர் தொடர்பான பணிகளில் உதவி வருவதும், இந்தியத் துறைமுகங்கள் மேம்பாட்டிற்குச் சிங்கப்பூரின Keppel Corporation தனது மதியுரைகளை வழங்கி வருவதும் நாம் அறிந்ததே.
நான்யாங் தொழில் நுட்பப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் (NTU) இந்திய முதலீட்டாளர் 4 மில்லியன் டாலர் வழங்கியுள்ளார். இதனால் NTUவிற்கும், IIT-Madras, IISc-Bangaloreற்கும் தொடர்பு ஏற்பட்டு, மாணவர்கள் மூன்று பல்கலைகளையும் இணைத்த முனைவர் பட்டப் படிப்புக்களைப் பெறவியலும். இதுவும் மோதியின் பயணத்தின் போது நடந்த ஒன்று.

சிங்கப்பூரில் NETS என்னும் பணப் பரிமாற்றச் சேவை உள்ளது. கடைகளில் இதன் மூலம் அட்டைகளைக் கொண்டு பணம் செலுத்தவியலும். இந்தியாவில் அவ்வாறே RuPay என்னும் வழிமுறை உள்ளது. இனி NETS அட்டைகளின் வழி இந்தியாவிலும், RuPay அட்டைகளின் வழி சிங்கப்பூரிலும் பணப் பரிமாற்றச் சேவை, பொருட்களை வாங்குதல் முதலிய சேவைகளைப் பெறலாம். இதனால் Visa, MasterCard முதலான அமெரிக்க நிறுவனங்களுக்குச் செலுத்த வேண்டிய சேவைக் கட்டணத்தைத் தவிர்க்கலாம். இந்தியாவில் இருந்து சிங்கப்பூர் வரும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளுக்கு இது மிகவும் பயனளிக்கும் சேவையாகும். இதுவும் பிரதமர் மோதியின் வருகையின் போது நிகழ்ந்த ஒன்று. சிங்கப்புரில் தாதியர்களுக்கான தேவை பெரிய அளவில் உள்ளது. ஆகவே இந்தியாவில் தாதிமைப் பயிற்சி / அனுபவம் உடையவர்கள் பலருக்குச் சிங்கப்புரில் வேலைக்கான ஏற்பாடு தாதியர்களுக்குப் பெருத்த உவகையளிக்கும்.
இந்திய Start-up நிறுவனங்கள் தற்போது 4760 உள்ளன. இது உலகில் மூன்றாவது எண்ணிக்கை. இந்த நுறுவனங்களுக்கான துவக்க நிதி 2016ல் 4.06 பில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர். ஆனால் 2017ல் 13.7 பில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர் என்று அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்த மாபெரும் Start-up கூட்டியக்கத்தைச் சிங்கப்பூர் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள உள்ளது. தனது Start-up நிறுவனங்கள் இந்திய Start-upகளுக்கான பங்குச் சந்தையைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளவும், அவற்றுடன் இணைந்து செயலாற்றவும் ஒப்பந்தங்கள் போடப்பட்டுள்ளன. சுமார் 10,000 நிறுவனங்கள் என்றூ உயர வாய்ப்புள்ளது என்று சிங்கப்புரின் வர்த்தக அமைச்சர் ஈஸ்வரன் தெரிவித்தார்.
நான்யாங் தொழில் நுட்பப் பல்கலையில் நேர்காணலில் பிரதமர் சிறப்பான மதியுரை வழங்கினார். இந்திய-சிங்கப்பூரிய மாணவர்களிடையே ஹேக்கத்தான் (Hackathon) நிகழ்வுகள் நடைபெற வேண்டும் என்றும், அதனால் பல புதிய புத்தாக்கச் சிந்தனைகள் உதயம் ஆகும் என்றும் சொன்னார். இம்முறை சிங்கப்பூரில் மென்பொருள் நிறுவனங்களில் நடைமுறையில் உள்ள ஒன்று. ஆனால் இரு நாட்டு மாணவர்களின் அறிவுத்திறத்திற்கும் விருந்தாய் அமைந்தது இந்த மதியுரை.
இந்தியக் கடற்படைக் கப்பல்களுக்கும், நீர்மூழ்கிக் கப்பல்களுக்கும் சிங்கப்பூர் எரிபொருள் மற்றும் பராமரிப்புச் சேவைகளை அளிக்கவிருக்கிறது. வியத்னாம் பகுதியில் உள்ள ONGC நிறுவனத்தின் எண்ணெய்க் கிணறுகளுக்கான பாதுகாப்புப் பணிகளுக்காகவும், ஆப்பிரிக்கக் கண்டம் முதல் மலாக்கா கடல் வழி வரையிலான கடல்வழிப் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் இந்தியக் கடற்படைக்கு இச்சேவை மிகவும் பயனளிக்கும்.
ஷாங்ரி லா கூட்டத்தில் பிரதமர் மோதி கடல் வழி / வான் வழிப் பாதுகாப்பு குறித்துப் பேசியதையும், அமெரிக்க அரசு பசிபிக் கமாண்ட் (PACOM) என்னும் தனது பிரிவை இந்தோ-பசிபிக் கமாண்ட்(US Indo-Pacific Command) என்று மாற்றி அமைத்துள்ளதையும் ஒப்பு நோக்கினால் உலகம் செல்லும் திசையும் அதில் இந்தியாவின் முக்கிய நிலையும் புரியும்.
இவை குறித்து மேலும் கேள்விகள் இருப்பின் கேளுங்கள்.

As an aside, I saw all the 2G, Coal scam and Sharada scam accused come together, stand in front of parliament and demand justice for themselves.
For the first time, an income tax assesse felt proud of paying his tax.
When Singapore sought help from India to help set an army, India didn’t respond, for fear of antagonizing the Arabs and Malaysia.
Pragmatic Singapore then recognized Israel, gave embassy space for the nation and took her help in designing its successful National Service. Singapore benefited from Israel’s technical prowess and more specifically in its water treatment technologies. It was a mutually beneficial relationship.
It has taken 70 years for an Indian PM to visit Israel and establish the historical ties that the two people had. When the Jews were persecuted everywhere else, India gave refuge to the beleaguered people and took care of them. This was recognized by the Israeli parliament later.
With the PM’s visit, a long standing stupidity of alienating Israel has been broken. The monstrous idiocy of supporting Yasser Arafat’ PLO and similar destructive organizations, the completely baffling stupidity of supporting the OIC backed resolutions against Israel, the long dead and gone NAM driven policy blunders are, thankfully, things of the past.
Let the people of the world unite on the basis of shared values, rather than be divided on the basis of language, religion or ideology. That is the essence of vasudaiva kudumbakam and the long standing Indian value system ‘யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளிர்’.

Finally the days of pusillanimity are over. Gone are the days when Prime Minister Nehru wanted Israeli arms but imposed a condition that they not be shipped under Israeli flag. So much for not angering the Arabs.
Prime Minister Modi did not make the ‘customary’ visit to Palestine to ‘underscore’ the historically stupid position of supporting terrorist states in the name of fighting for justice. Nothing against Palestine but every thing against such ‘balancing-acts’.
The ‘customary’ meeting with China in G-20 has also been called off. Say it as a show of force or a sign of bravado. Nevertheless, this is a change in stance from historically bending over backwards to appease and prostrate.
Let there not be a war, but let a message be sent that India of the past, India of appeasement, India with a circular backbone is a thing of the past.
First thing to do, after the PM returns, is to appoint a full time Defense Minister, one with a military background preferably. This will not only reinvigorate the Armed forces, but also send a message that India means business.
When Abdul Kalam was made President, the Indian communists, whose fatherhood is often a matter of question, asked what message would it send to China if we appoint a missile technologist to the highest office.
Now, we need to have an equivalent in the Defense Ministry.
One can be stupid. But one cannot pretend to be stupid yet want to be called clever.
This is what the Narendra Modi government is like today. One the one hand Modi speaks of probity in public life and on the other the party has Sushma and Vasundhara who have become so infamous in the last two weeks that even A.Raja of the DMK appears to be a saint.
Let us face the facts. L.K.Advani was framed in the Hawala case by Narasimha Rao in 1996-97. He resigned on the same day asking to expedite the probe. He never contested elections until he was cleared of charges. Later he became the deputy prime minister under Vajpayee. That is a standard that he set for all politicians in India.
Vasundhara and Sushma, as what we see in the media, are deeply entangled in this Lalit Modi scam. Let us for a moment assume there is nothing in the scam and all activities were done in a bona-fide manner. What does it cost to ask the two ladies to resign, probe the scam and later re-induct them into the ministries once they are acquitted ? Does the government not have enough heads if these two are to be temporarily dropped ?

Letter to the Prime Minister – BSNL Conundrum

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
I am an Indian citizen. I had written several letters to your predecessor with no luck of reply. But I was surprised when your office wrote me back on some suggestions that I had made to you on handling corruption. Hence I have made it a point to write to you periodically on issues that affect the common man.
Today I had to go to the local office of BSNL in Chennai. I already have a landline as well as a mobile connection from BSNL. I wanted one more mobile connection for my son and hence asked for an additional line.
The clerk asked me to go to another telephone exchange if I opted for post paid connection and was willing to serve me for a pre-paid connection. I opted for the pre-paid connection. He then asked me to fill out a form, provide an identity proof and an address proof. I am an existing customer and hence produced my current bill. That was for the address proof. Then I had to provide my PAN Card for the identity proof.
I had to go out, in search of a photocopy shop for taking a copy of the proof. Later, he asked me for a passport sized photo which I didn’t carry. Hence I had to come back empty handed.
My questions :
When I am already a customer of BSNL, why should I produce address and identity proofs ?
Why should I have to go to another telephone exchange for post-paid connection ?
Why should I provide a passport sized photo, yet again, when I am already BSNL’s customer ?
Why does not a premier government undertaking have a photocopy machine installed in its premises ?
I request you to direct the I&B ministry to address these obvious discrepancies. Let me add further that the staff were courteous and efficient , just that the process is so cumbersome.

How come you compare a tea boy with Modi ? You might not know about tea boys because you were educated in Doon School, St.Stephens and then joined the IFS. Later you became a minister as well.
You know something, I know all these schools and colleges. That is because I have sold tea in front of all these schools. No, not for the elite people like you but for the gardener, peon, carpenter, driver and other such stupid being that are cursed to work in those schools.
Well, I also sold tea near your election rallies in Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu. You remember Mayiladuthurai ? Correct, your old constituency that you never visited. Remember something Sir ? You also said you would make Mayiladuthurai another Singapore. And the people of the place are waiting for that golden day when you would christen Mayiladuthurai as Singapore. Everything else has been done there. There are subway trains, continuous power supply, no crime, people don’t spit on the ground and what not ? Also Mayiladuthurai has become the financial hub of South East Asia as well. See Sir, Mayiladuthuai has so developed that Singapore government is planning to rename Singapore as Mayiladuthurai. ( In case you don’t remember Mayiladuthurai, it is 30 KM from Chidambaram in Tamil nadu. Which Chidambaram ? No, not the finance minister. It is the name of the place Sir. You don’t know the place ? The place where the stupid God Nataraja dances in a stupid way so that the world exists. ).
Coming back to the tea boy Sir. See, actually, you might not know about the tea making process because you would have only had English Breakfast Tea with Bacon, Scrambled Eggs and what not. Actually I have only tea for breakfast. Even my father has that only.
Actually Sir, this tea boy business is not correct. You should have called Modi a Cow Boy. BJP anyways wants to save the cows, right ? So he should be the cow boy. No, not play boy Sir. That is your leader Sir, who usually plays with the Colombian girl friend, you see.

He is only capable of campaigning for elections, running an efficient government, increasing productivity, raising the GDP of his state and welcoming new car companies to his state. He is not capable of making Tea Sir. That needs great skills and that only your leader can make. He does not have to do what Modi is doing by being Chief Minister right ?
Sir, Modi, the idiotic Chief Minister, can only conduct ‘Swagat Online’ programs where people come to him to solve their problems. He conducts video conference with the district officials and solves them. He is capable of only that. How can he make Tea ?
Actually he goes to every village during Vijayadasami – the day of learning – and asks families to send their girl children to school. This he does every year. The foolish chief minister thinks that by doing this he will make them happy. Actually if he stays in their huts and drinks porridge like your leader, he will work wonders. And you are asking him to make tea ? He does not have the capacity to make tea sir.
You now something Sir ? That guy Modi can only bring power supply to his state. He can only make his state power surplus. He can only make people get 24×7 thee phase power. Can he make tea ? He does not have that skill sir. That needs special skills learnt from St.Stephens and Doon School.
That guy Modi has implemented a simple and stupid scheme Sir. It is called ‘Chiranjeevi Yojana’. The private hospitals are paid Rs 2000 for ensuring the safe child delivery for below poverty level mothers in villages. And that has reduced the infant mortality rate in his state. And some stupid organizations such as United Nations have given some idiotic awards to him. How stupid ? Your Congress have eradicated poverty instantly when your Montek Singh Aluvalia declared that you just need Rs 32 for a day to live in India. This guy Modi doesn’t understand all these. He can’t make Tea Sir. He is just fit to be Chief Minister, that is all.
There is another stupid scheme Sir. It is called ‘Mathru Vandhana’ – Saluations to the mother. This gives fee gynecologial treatment to poor women. And the government subsidises this. What a fool he is making out of poor doctors Sir. Would your Congress government do any such stupid act ? He is so foolish that he can only do these things and hence cannot make Tea Sir.
Sir, When the whole of India had attracted an investment of USD 69 billion in the year 2006-2007, Gujarat alone had accounted for an investment of USD 17.8 billion – that is 25.5% of the total investment made in India has been made in Gujarat. When India’s GDP was 9%, that of the state of Gujarat has been 13 %.. How dare this guy Modi produce such results ? How come a state’s growth surpass that of the country ? That is why I said he is not fit for being a tea boy.
You know this Sir, The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation of Sonia Gandhi – they have an index – The Economic Freedom Index. And they have given the best governed state award to Gujarat even as early as 2005. I say this again, Sir. This guy Modi is fit to get these kinds of awards only. He cannot make Tea.
And there are these global foolish organizations – The Wall Street Journal and The Sinapore Economic Board – they had given the Asian Innovation Award to the Chiranjeevi Scheme in 2006. Stupid organizations confer stupid awards to stupid people like Modi. I tell you again, this guy Modi can only get these awards. He cannot make tea.
And you know what ? Gujarat , like Singapore, does not have corruption. See, how can a corruption free Chief Minister make Tea ?
So, don’t rely on elections to choose the Prime Minister, Sir. If your leader stands in election, this guy Modi will win easily because what he speaks people understand. But your leader speaks like ‘Indians are made of energy’, ‘Indians have politics in their pant pockets’ etc. In my village, the ladies don’t wear pants. They wear saris. So they will not vote for your leader Rahul Baba.
So, I suggest a way out Sir, Mr.Mani Shankar Aiyer. Please conduct a competition in a stadium. Invite all international tea companies and big hotels that make good tea. Ask Modi and Rahul to make tea side by side. See who finishes first. Definitely Rahul will have finished making Tea first. Then make him Prime Minister. How is my idea, Sirji ?
Also Sir, when I was standing in front of Doon School and St.Stephens’ college selling tea, I had overheard some English lessons. So please pardon my English, Sir.
